Emma Chevers O,T. Reg. (Ont.)
Emma is delighted to begin her career as an Occupational Therapist at KFOT. She volunteered with Debbie when she was in high school, and decided that OT was her dream job. She was inspired by the way an OT could use play and meaningful activity to help a child develop skills that would last a lifetime. Emma studied child development and education at the University of Guelph and then obtained her Masters of Occupational Therapy at Queens University. During her schooling, she had the opportunity to practise at Kingston General Hospital, Nova's Ark Charity, and KidsInclusive.
